Straight shafts

I posed this question in the main forum section but certainly wanted the experts opinion on it.It relates to shafts when taken apart from the butt section and rolled on a table; When shafts are used as regular playing shafts,is a small amount of movement("roll" or "wobble") not a fairly common occurence? I am not talking about looking like a fish flopping but minor roll and if it isnt noticable when playing isnt the shaft acceptable? I heard the quote "Wood wanders" and it was credited to Mr. Bludworth(please forgive me Mr Bludworth if this is incorrect) which made sense as wood is an organic material. Please give input as this is a request for information not a statement from knowledge or vast experienceThx,Mike S.

if you want dead straight should have one made in steel or aluminum rod...hehhehhehe.......after all is wood 12-13 mm shaft size depending on taper.. temperture..humidity...ect.. how many shaft can keep it straight? lol
