Just informed some 9ballers are barely hitting the rack?
Any body confirm this?
Thanks
I remember watching a 9-ball match from two years ago. Orcullo vs. Shane. May have been the finals. The commentator remarked on Dennis the whole tournament had been putting the same ball in the same lower corn of the table, with essentially the same spread. He proceeded to do so, right before my eyes. Thus began my hatred for pattern racking and soft breaking, and I've never been a fan of Orcullo because of that video.

Does anyone know the break rules?
Watching Orcollo is putting me to sleep. Soft break should be banned!
Somehow I think if Earl soft broke, it would still be exciting to watch.

Soft break, pateren racking, and using a template rack is a joke for pros on a BB. Placing the balls in the right place in the rack will leave you a very high chance of a 2, 3, 4, combo on the 9 ball if not an easy RO. The 9 never moves on a very soft break with the MR. Figuring the ball order for a low combo is easy. Johnnyt
They used the Accu-Racks in the Music City open a few years back... They tried the soft break but it wasn't working.. The big package in the finals was 1 I think... They had 4-5 dry breaks... There is a difference in templates... It's about engineering and physics... not plastic and cash.....
