Tony Drago came in right after my game finished. Not so many guys will challenge him as he is known player. But soon enough he had made a game with a young kid (19) called Boba, or something like that. I had seen this kid play a couple of years ago against an even younger kid who also played lights out pool. Let me put it this way. Boba would be head and shoulders above any teenager in America, except for Jesse Engel. And he would be the favorite with Jesse as well! This a kid who would be a match for just about anyone this side of the SVB's, Archers, Morris' and Hatch's. If Dechaine wants action here he can start with someone like this, who could very well surprise him. This kid is a serious player, second echelon in the Philippines, right behind the Orcullo's and Corteza's.
Boba was a little too confident and too cocky though, and made a couple of critical errors, allowing Tony to take down the cheese. They talked about playing the next night for 30,000p (about $700), but I wasn't feeling well enough to go, so I don't know if the game came off or not.
