You used to have the best avatar on the site with the picture of yourself. Why change?

Thus, the forums should cater to both genders and stop allowing the guys to use offensive avatars. Otherwise, we should be able to use the same kind images, male versions, of course.

No it is not solve by telling people to turn off avatars. There are only a limited number of people who insist on posting offensive avatars. Why should we have to turn them all off? The majority are finetd873 said:1) click "user cp"

4) problem solved. You get all the content with no offensive avatars.
Now please retire the avatar police, it's starting to get annoying.

Just out of curiosity, did you actually read what this thread was about, or did you just read the subject title and make a post?professor1967 said:i think pool caters to women all the time the apa sponsors the womens pro tour. The women already have a better tour than the men.I get tired of seeing woman playing pool on espn everyday.I SO IN MY 2 CENTS GET OFF IT
Yes. It really is. Just turn them off.No it is not solve by telling people to turn off avatars.
We have different perspectives on the "problem" and the "majority."There are only a limited number of people who insist on posting offensive avatars. Why should we have to turn them all off? The majority are fine

We have different perspectives on the "problem" and the "majority."
1) The "majority" is the number of people on AZ that aren't offended by avatars.
2) The "problem" is a minority of people that are offended by only a few avatars, but then continue to saturate AZ with threads preaching to the "majority" that something should be done to accomodate/cater to them. [i.e., "we are more important than you, although we are fewer than you."]
3) Thus, having the minority turn off the avatars does indeed solve the "problem" -> it stops the minority from complaining about something that is not relevant to pool and something they are not really entitled to, nor deserve.
I would bet that these "minority" folks are the same people that complain about too much sex/violence on TV, but continually watch TV so they can see just how much sex/violence there is. IMO, this is terrible logic.
Just turn off the avatars or stop complaining.
Pretty simple really.
