Cmon Let's talk it up-Somebody beside me must be watching!!


I have to say as a whole, these girls, most of whom no one ever heard of, shoot pretty darn good. The Single E is a race to 10 which i think assures that GYK wins it all.

Ewa/Emily tied at 7 in the first round. Jeanette won her match.
 
I'm not watching today, but I watched the last 2 days and it was surprising to see some of the misses - and some of the outs. Just wish I had more time to watch it all. :( How's the stream doing today?

The few women’s events that there are draw almost no interest on this board. The last few WPBA events had almost no discussions.

Now if we talk about women vs men, or how women can’t hang with the guys in a men’s tournament, or Shanelle’s huge rack, or a thong sticking out while they bent over for a shot, or which slimy promoter can’t honestly represent his tournaments by WPA and general business standards, or which one is in to the felt (aka muff), then those get plenty of comments and controversy.

But the actual tournaments and their play themselves, that draws very little interest on AZB.


I would have ordered the PPV if it wasn’t out of Steinway nor such a ridiculous price. Also if it wasn’t a Dragon event as they won’t remove me from their spam mailing list.

This is true. Its seems even when the WPBA was in full swing, us diehards were not even remotely as interested in it as men's events.

I wonder if its the opposite for the general public though, and when pool is/was on espn, they preferred watching the women?
 
I've been on the stream all day. The morning matches were fine. The current match is completely frozen. I would have thought they would have had a chat room where you can ask for some support.

Difference is sex sells. If you can get a few nice looking women on TV playing tiddle winks people will watch. GET is a real player. Lori John and her would have been a good match up.

People need to let up on old Charlie. He's doing something to keep pool going. I think anybody ' s efforts should be respected to some degree even if you disagree. If you don't like it start your own event.

Is the stream a good quality? I'm tempted to watch but do not want the aggravation if it is not a high quality stream and commentary.

Anyone that has been watching please share your opinion.

One of the primary reasons we watch any sports/games played by pros is to see them do things that we cannot do. Whether MLB, NBA, NHL or anything else.

As bad as they play I can watch the LPGA or the WNBA (if extremely bored) because they do things that I cannot do.

The female poolplayers cannot do anything I can't do. They can't play 9 ball, 10 ball, Banks or 1 Pocket. I've no reason to watch girls play pool unless I'm staking them.

My stream is fine and my point in a previous post was there are a lot of girls no one knows who shoot good B+ There are no champions there except GaYoung Kim who can beat anyone, maybe even ONB

$50 for the week or $7 per day is a ridiculous price? How far out of line could that be? What do you think is fair- $3.50/day?

It ridiculously cheap. Ive been entertained all week-Additionally I stayed home so i saved $$ by not going out and spending 4 or 5 times that amount somewhere else. For me it's a bargain

Well for one, it was initially advertised as an "$80 early bird special". That is a ridiculous price given it is higher than pretty much any event streamed to date. That shows they think we are all suckers that were going to sign up for that absurd price. Also given the talent level showing up, the shitty way they advertised the event, their stupid way of slowly releasing on a whim the group pairings, and the regular issues with streams out of Steinway, I didn't really think it was much worth purchasing.

It was races to 10 today, but it will be 11 in the quarters, 13 in the semis, and 17 in the finals.

Did Ga-Young win her two matches today (maybe the second one is still going on)? If she did, the chances of someone else winning the event get slimmer and slimmer with the longer races.

Anyone think that any player in the event can win more than 40% of the games in a long race with Ga-Young?
 
It would be really cool if they turned out how to turn the volume back on. I guess without a chat room they don't even know the volume is off.

GYK is playing Akiko in the 2nd rd on the stream now.

No one can stay w GYK in those longer races-agreed (but anything can happen once)
