The Hustlers Second Season

I saw Finnegan, and Smiley on separate days this week. I asked directly, and they didn't know if the show is being renewed, or not.

I'm hoping the show would continue on, as it may provide opportunity for pool themed shows. As for those who complain about the format and how it could be better, have you ever considered that the producers may have heard all the other pitches, and went with this because it was the most viable. If this show succeeded, then competing networks would want their own version and be willing to listen to other ideas.

Hee-Haw and Family Guy are shows that the networks cancelled, and thrived in syndication. Hee-Haw was cancelled during the rural purge in 1971, replaced by All in the Family. Hee-Haw went on to twenty more years in syndication. Fox cancelled Family Guy during it's third season. The show became a cult success during re-runs and due to DVD sales that Fox revived it

Futurama also was dropped, I think more than once even.

Not enough substance for the show to carry on, 10 players, a list and steinway billiards. A few tense scenes and some drama but it's less about pool and more about making it to #1. Gary was probably the most interesting of the bunch, Amy and Ross the most annoying.

Some people just hate their life and feel they need to whine and b*tch about anything and everything imo....

I like The Hustlers, but I've only been watching for the last four episodes.

So far I have not seen any first-hand info confirming a renewal or a cancellation.

The Reddit post seemed like pure rumor. The guy did not provide even one Facebook link to confirm his claims.

I hope the Hustlers gets a renewal. It is as good as or better than quite a lot of so-called entertainment on TV.

Whether or not it is a great pool show is practically irrelevant, it just needs to be acceptable entertainment.

Well I am hoping it gets another season. I would think the Network would let the season run its course first before making a decision on it one way or another. Of the stuff they have had on Tru TV I have liked the series Kart Life, Carbonaro Effect and the Hustlers. Most of the other stuff on there doesn't appeal to me.

I feel the same way. Considering there is a new show out there about the " struggle" of making knives, it would seem that playing pool still would appeal to more people. I guess we shall see.

Seems like the " struggle" to host an event as large as the USAPL and BCAPL nationals and the US Open 8ball and 10ball would rank just as well, as far as " the struggle" is concerned.

There's a guy in my local area who is slated to be in the show. While I do not know all of the details, I would presume a second season.

If there is a second season would I watch it? Probably, do I think it's a great show, not really. Some of the episodes that seemed to focus more on the pool were ok, don't need all the "drama". As long as they keep showing stuff like Hardcore Pawn it would seem to me that the bar for renewal is pretty low.

Best show ever! I cannot believe they have not received awards for the acting and pool playing. They should sign a 20 year contract. Good God folks get a life.

Watched snippets of it on Youtube and didn't like it
Came across as a bunch of desperadoes trying to get their 5 mins of fame on TV
Quite obvious some were acting up for the cameras which you do not really do in a reality show
Couple of loudmouths like Finnegan , Emily were grating and unbearable
The production quality was awesome though

I love stuff with Hustle-
The Hustler
Hustler
Hustle

But this is not one of them
:D
