For those who missed it -- some time zones are brutal and matchroom.live has no replay feature -- here are two matches from this event with Ronnie O'Sullivan. These are edited for time but all the important shots are retained getting a match down to about an hour. The editor also adds a lot of info, such as the players' records against each other and diagrams of the shots the commentators are suggesting.

O'Sullivan vs. Ali Carter, 1st round:

O'Sullivan vs. John Higgins:

I expect the final two rounds will be up shortly, so you may want to subscribe to the channel.

The Rocket is a true Legend!!! He will be missed dearly when he finally retires but we are the lucky ones!! We got to see his whole career from the beginning and MAN!! What a legend is all I can say.

i was just thinking just that yesterday, but also that the future looks bright with guys like luca and judd. ronnie doesn't look 48 in his physique though, he is in better shape than any other player

his interview afterwards was interesting, he gave the trophy away and says he is getting ready for death, doesn’t want any snooker cues or waistcoats or anything around when he is 70 or 80

Not too sure about the people that shoot without pockets but Ronnie might be the greatest in any of the pocket billiard sports.

A fantastic cueist with a mental game second to none. I am always in awe that he stopped the match to find out what a perfect 147 paid. He had eight points at the time!

That was ballsy! He has run a ton of centuries and quite a few maximums and was cocky lol. After all he's Ronnie!
