WELCOME BACK!

We all missed you as you can hopefully tell...us in the online forum world that were not lucky enough to attend the KOH especially. I only live an hour away, but I always have so much going on with my wife and step-kids.

Anyway, just want you to know how much you are appreciated here and if you ever need ANY and I do mean ANY computer help, you let me know ASAP okay? kidshark@yahoo.com It ain't much to offer, but it's well deserved for all the hard work you put into the board here.

Thanks,
Shorty

PS, you inbox is full :D

Jam,

I was watching the two 2003 US Open matches of Keith vs. Parica on DVD a few days ago and saw your cute face ringside.

You're a celeb!

p.s. Keith was playing incredibly, especially in the first match (Semi-final).

And I was looking for you, too, Shorty! It was, without a doubt, the absolute finest pool event I have ever experienced, bar none. Every single match was recorded, and the players were wearing mics throughout the duration while in the pit.

The IPT King of the Hill Shootout was quite unique in that the camera crew and producers came together to film this historic event, and like all of the players and us railbirds, they didn't know what to expect. The professionalism of the production crew was evident. One of the media members is an Emmy Award-winning producer. I believe it was a bass fishing documentary on one of the sports channels. Pool was a new animal for them to tackle, and they didn't leave any stone unturned. By the end of the week, the camera crew and the players were like family, very comfortable with each other, and hopefully, pool will finally have a personality. I cannot wait to see the final production.

There were two anchor women, for lack of a better word, who chatted with the players after their matches. One of them was Danielle, a blond beauty with personality-plus. I think you will agree when you see her on TV after the IPT KOTH airs that her interviews were well done. She did a lot of research beforehand to make sure she covered all of the nitty gritty details about the matches.

The first night, all of the participants gathered in the Mothership, where the final match was played. I met Danielle and began chatting away about pool, and she was diligently taking notes about all of the players. Her interviews were right on the money [pun intended], and she added a lot to the program IMHO with her quick wit and sparkling personality, not to mention she's a knockout! Ask Corey, Shawn, and Aaron! :D

Thanks for the kind words. I'm a railbird in the scheme of things, and Keith is the thoroughbred. For the first time in his life, he is enthusiastic about playing pool. The IPT has given him a sense of pride that I have never seen before in our time together. He is currently attempting to get as strong as he can by eating healthy and getting in shape. He intends to give the IPT his best performance and has hope, something that has been sorely lacking as far as a future until now.

Jose and Keith are good friends, and I've seen many a battle between the two of them on a field of green. That night at the 2003 U.S. Open, Keith was on fire and played well. It was a night to remember for sure! You had to have been there! :D

I met Jose Parica's wife for the first time at the IPT King of the Hill Shootout. He usually travels the tournament trail solo, but not this time. He wanted her to see firsthand what the IPT was all about. Pool players are taking this tour very seriously, and I believe the sport will advance to a new frontier, thanks to Kevin Trudeau's vision.
