I think you may have Bruce mixed up with BRKNRUN...BRKNRUN is Ken and Bruce is Bruce...(you replied to Bruce.....no sweat)
BTW...I knew I got a tough draw going into the match and who the better player was. That may have been part of the reason I lost......
Don't sweat your play too much...I know you did not play your best, but I saw some flashes of your (A) game on Saturday.....Jimmy was right....If your on your game, your easily one of the top 5 in AZ....
Please tell your wife I am not down on myself. I get frustrated by the outcome of getting out of line or taking overly aggresive shots, but I played some decent matches on the 1-loss side before losing a "freewhell" match to one of my friends (which always seems to happen with him)... so ...I am not too upset.....I feel like I can at least see the top of the hill at this point. I have only been back in the game for about 8 months with limited tournaments such as this weekend with real competition, and this is actually the first time I've taken getting better seriously. I figure once I iron out a few details of my game....like shotmaking, shape, kicks, banks, safes......oh and the break....I'll compete......
My biggest disapointment was them not allowing Mark Tadd to play. I know its the "Arizona" all around, but I think if they would let out of state players in the field (like every other state) they could get 100 players easy....Mark is living in Az now anyway, but he was honest and told them he did not have a AZ ID yet.......That's what honesty gets you I guess....(and yes folks it was the real Mark Tadd...

)
Hopefully next year they change the tour to Arizona Desert Series or something and let anyone in...
I would have loved to see Mark and Scott match up...Two world beaters in the same room and one is not allowed to play. I could see Mark just itching to get at a table...
I'm trying to work out the plans to go to cali this weekend...$70.00 for some good tournament experience...I am all for that...My friend got second yesterday, so it was pretty easy for me to talk him into going and splitting a room.
