i did a search on wax and cue wax here in this forum and couldnt get a list
there is a thread in the main forum related to my question but i trust the cue makers answers more...:)
Butchers Bowling Alley wax /molinari/carnuba/were some waxes mentioned
do you all think its ok to wax your cue shaft in the first place ??
and if so what is your wax of preference if price was not the issue
thanks for your replies

are you a cuemaker??

Are you ?
Would the only response you'd accept have to come from a cue-maker ?
Cue-makers have at times been known to be wrong.
That's one way that we learn.
Different waxes are better suited to different areas of the cue.
Sometimes no wax at all is better.

I also use Renaissance wax and its great stuff. I would only advise using it on a shaft after the shaft has been cleaned, sealed and burnished. There are many other waxed that will work fine, it's more of when to use wax rather than what type to use.
