I have been wanting to get a pool related tattoo for quite some years now. I asked a friend to draw me something and this is what she came up with. Whadya think? Think it would make a good one?

Oh by the way the pic is my avatar.

I like the idea, but I don't really like the drawing. Of course, it only really matters if you like it since it'll be on your body. I want a pool-related tattoo now, but I'm not so sure I'll be happy with the decision later down the road so I'm not going to do it.

I like it, but I think it has too much black all smushed together. It might be hard to see and understand, especially after some time has passed.

???????????

I really like it. I think theres only one place for that tattoo. If I were you I would put it dead center in the forehead. Absolutely Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

I think BJ on an episode of MASH had a great line once when he said, "Why would you put a picture on your body that you wouldn't hang on your wall?" But with that said, I agree with the other poster that it might be too black... maybe a nine ball instead?

It is too dark. Won't look good unless a real expert does it.

You asked what we think of it. I think deforming your body is foolish.

I am not going to argue with anybody about whether tattoos are "acceptable" or not. I asked what people though about the drawing for a tattoo, I didn't ask for opinions on whether or not "deforming your body" is foolish.

Pinocchio.............um.........sure thing buddy:rolleyes:

Stroke....I have a few other tattoos with lighter colors. My body won't accept white....it fades out in like ten days. I thought about the 9 ball too but I don't know. There is a lot of black in the pic, but I don't know if it will look bad. I think it would be alright.

The few tattoos I have are not out in the open. I have a couple on my leg and one on my arm but higher up. All the tattoos are not visible when wearing plain clothes. People can only see them when I want them too.

Thanks for the opinions guys.

One Size Fits All ?

I gave this pool tattoo idea ALOT of thought and came up with a spendid idea.
Have a cue tattooed on your private part.... sometimes you would have a break cue, sometime a jump cue and other times, only a butt.....
Doug
( be careful how you chalk it................and always wear 'a glove' ) :)

That's why I get the big bucks..... it's my brainstorming... imo

I support the other views ,it might be too dark. There are peolpe that can make it work though. Now for the main point,I don't know you and your game but I would make sure you have some game before you put it on.I know someone that has gotten a pool tat and he can't run three balls in a row,and the tat IMO puts a mark on you as a player.I myself would see the tat and think your a player and would target you for a game.I my self have a ten ball tat with a dollar sign as the shinny sparkle point in the ball.It has gotten me plenty of games and has broke me on occasion also.Good luck in your decision.

I can run more than three balls blindfolded, shooting one handed with my left arm....:p I can play so I'm not worried about that. Like I said before though, it won't be in plain sight. :D

A lot depends upon your skin color and shade but it does look like the black is too dense and not enough "white space" to bring out the detail.

Tatoos don't look very good after 25 years FWIW. I have one and it is simple lettering USMC and now it can't even be distinguished.

Thinking about getting a full upper body tatoo, all except the hands, neck and head. :D

I got an "M" on ea cheek

If I drop trou it spells "MOM" and if I stand on my head it says "WOW"...I think:confused:

You look kind of light skinned so I guess the letters are quite readable especially if you have large cheeks and large letters .:p

This would make a pretty interesting tattoo.
