What if every regional tour in the US had

The same races, same entry fees and same rules ?

Would pool be better off? Is it time stop trial and error or should the madness continue ?

Anyone have any thoughts on this ?

And if they could all be the same format could they be pulled into 1 unit or should they remain separate entities with no ties to each other or would this sport benefit greatly if they were all under 1 sanctioning body?

I think that would be 'nice' but I do not think it will happen in the near future.

There are too many egos and competitive mindsets in the world of pool (as we know it today).

I think the people in the industry need to work together - but I am only one voice. I could tell you horror stories about some of the 'moves' other industry leaders pull. It should be about growing the game and a little less about 'ME', but rather than try to work with their mindset, we are putting together a program that will really improve the whole industry.

That might actually make me (and CSI) part of the current problem - but at least we have a solution. Just stay tuned!
