Many years ago I had a shooter/friend that collected cues with a -W- on the forearm between the points. What is this cue and where could I buy one and what would be the cost?

Perhaps a Wayne Holmes, Thomas Wayne, Weston, Whitey, Woodworth, Worst?

Could have been the infamous "Robert Weir" cues! They were made by Adams under a private label but, often represented as being made by Robert Weir.
