I like the confidence! I looked at your page, some very nice-looking cues. I like wood, too, tho it appears you are on another level ^_^
The more I play the less the cue matters
Long as it's stiff maple big dia since that's what I been using last several yrs
I was kinda hoping folks would post a pic of their favorite playing cue. A little cue porn on a Sunday morning is nice. These threads, IMO, are just like asking what's the best: beer, wine, pizza, whiskey, Mexican food, yada-yada-yada. Way too subjective. Just don't see the point other than sheer boredom. My $.02, nothing more.
The best cue, to me anyway, is whatever i'm using to win $$ with at any given time. One of the best for me was a $30 pos fiberglass-coated Cuetec. Kept it in my car yr. round and won a lot with it. I've had FAR nicer cues that didn't come close in 'revenue generation'.
I’ve hit with probably 5-6 of these over the years, never owned one , I remember seeing one with a ivory handle. It weighed 26-27oz that cue didn’t hit too good. Was made from old cue balls. Rick wanted 9k for it in 91/92 as I recall.
50s Martin. Original condition. All white is ivory snd the wrap is pig skin. Wonderful cue.

I’ll let you hit some balls with mine, you mite rethink that statement
A cue I built myself but not after tweaking it multiple times even at one point removing the wrap and taking the butt down a bit. I also made a shaft and hollowed out the first 6 inches.
Plugged it a added a 1/2 inch sleeved ferrule, very thin. Except for making a few new shafts over time, I haven't changed in over 30 years.
