Don't confuse price with value. For example, how many quarters might you save knowing what Byrne offers? I'd guess about 1,000 times more than his video price.

Byrnes videos are great, I've seen a couple of them in the past. Another great instructional video series is by Timothy White of the BSACA. There's two series, 1) The Foundation Series volumes 1-5 and 2) The Finer Points Series volumes 6-10. All 10 volumes is just over 30 hours of video. They are available on DVD. Of course I have to mention these DVD's, considering I'm one of the Instructors for the BSACA. Even before I joined the BSACA, the videos were very helpful and very, very informative. Both series are so indepth and broken down, so that a 9 year old could understand, that it's like you're getting one-on-one instruction!
Just a suggestion!

I understand your point, Bruce---I like saving a buck too. My point was that your are not simply SPENDING money here, you are INVESTING money and that requires a different mindset, as you consider ROI, return on investment.

I wasn't necessarily talking about gambling as a payback, I was talking about losing more without the video, ergo having to put more money into the barbox to play. And also, the general level of your game would be better with the video info., long after you've forgotten the amount of money they cost.

I've seen people (me especially---lol) forego good investments because of the irrational focus on the cost vs. the net value. It happens in my business all the time.

I watch the Byrne video number one, at least once a year to get/keep my fundamentals straight. It's amazing how easy it is to forget one little piece of good advice that makes a remarkable difference in my game. Also, I couldn't tell you how much I paid for these videos, as I've long forgotten the price, but have still retained the value.

I don't mind at all.

I market a product for people who try to take vitamins but aren't really sure if they're taking the right ones...like what happened to me...

When I was in my 20's, I knew if I kept eating all that junk food, I'd end up fat. So, I exercised and took some store-bought vitamins, but didn't notice if they made any difference.

Then one day, my Mom told me about these other vitamins, and after using them for 3-4 months I noticed that I wasn't craving the junk food so much and it was easier to exercise.

It's been like that for 24 years now, and the best part is, I still weigh the exact same as I did back then. :p

I liked the product so much, I decided to market it to others so they could use it too, just like me...and that's what I did.

After a few years of doing this part-time, I quit my Post Office "good" job of 11 years. Now, I'm free to do whatever I want everday....good for my pool playing, btw.

Do you know anyone who might like to know about a business like that?
