Jess is a killer, when it goes bad for him it usually goes south pretty fast, however if he hits that gear and gets out in 30 seconds or less in a rack, he just stacks the points up on you. I'd like to see him get some redemption playing Johnny Morra, that's a battle and a half right there. The top guys on the bar table really do make it look too easy sometimes, it's a little bit decieving.

I think Jesse tried at the Derby, but Morra wanted no part of it for some reason, so instead he got beat over the head repeatedly by Henny....lol

Jess and Mr Pinegar were hanging out together a bunch in Louisville (so Jesse may have gotten back some money from Morra thru other avenues ;) ).

Chris I didn't even know that you play on the bar table. If that's the case, I'd have to put you on my top five list instead of Glen.

For some reason I thought you mentioned that you don't play on bar tables, but I could be mistaken.

As for Pinegar, I think it's a toss up between him and Stevie and anyone else on my list. I just forgot about him. I made the list off the top of my head.

how can you put chris on ur list if u dont even know how he plays on the bb btw frost wont play jesse because he wants no part of it so whats that tell u and tor shane i would love to see that match up id bet on jesse

Jordan Representative

I do not think I have ever seen Jesse and he has not been wearing some type of "Jordan" apparel. I have known him since he was probably 13..and he has always had Jordan shoes and at least a Jordan hat on. Most times a Jordan t-shirt to go with it.

I think Jordan should be his official sponsor!!

Jesse plays bar pool like Jordan played basketball!

Well for starters, Chris and Shane are probably the best money players in the USA. And every pro plays even stronger on the bar table.

I would say Archer also, but I haven't heard of him in big action for a while.

Chris plays very well...but as good as Shane...NOT. No disrepect to Chris or his game but there are a lot of players closer to Shane than Chris. Johnnyt

Lmao! Plus shane would hijack these other players so bad in 9 and 10 ball on the bartable that it wouldn't even be funny.

I'm a big fan of Jesse's game, but after seeing Shane play Scott to 150 in Des Moines (on a barbox).....THAT was a CLINIC! Maybe 8 ball, but I'd think that just might be Shane's BEST game on the small track!??

All I know is I'd like to see 'em play. Betting on Shane has done me well in the past (sorry Donny). Same with Corey...if he put in the tabletime that Shane does, he's just scary strong at EVERYTHING!

I think Larry Nevel could make the top 10 list he is a monster on a bar box and his break is deadly, I would like to hear bartrams opinion of nevels game

IMO "best money players" doesnt mean they are equal in skill level just that they match up real good.

If Morra wants any part of Jesse he knows right where he can find him, Morra better bring a bigger stake horse than he brought last time Jesse isn't gonna let him off for 1k a set or no 200 1 hole, I'd love to see it go off again and I'd love to get some cash in the middle on it.

Is there a way to save the video to watch it off line?

You can swipe the video off of ustream with some software, but why not make a small contribution, to keeping these coming, by buying a DVD?

I didn't mean to put down Jesse's game in any way, I think he is in the top five in the country playing on the bar box. I just think Scott is slightly better. Scott is the best one pocket player in the USA IMO, and Scott's best game is bar table 9-ball according to him.

The match could go either way, depending on who is breaking better, but I still think Scott would be a very slight favorite playing Jesse.

Here is my list in order for the best bar box players currently:

1.Shane
2.Scott Frost
3.Jesse Bowman
4.Glen Atwell (sp?)
5.Stevie Moore

You have to include Alex on this list too, right?

I started a thread on Jesse Bowman's barbox abilities just last week and got accused  of having a "man crush" on him. Why does the OP here get off so easy ???

Jesse's barbox 8-ball game is what really impresses me. I'd have a hard time bettin' against him, SVB or whoever else he was playin'.

Maniac

Agreed on Bowman's 8 ball barbox game. When he is in dead punch it's really strong but Shane plays even stronger 8ball bb!

I was fortunate enough to actually see Shane and Jesse play a couple of 8ball sets on BB during the ACS's first year in Vegas.

It was probably about 2am and I didn't know who Shane was at the time. Saw a crowd in the side room, went over to check out the action and saw a skinny guy in a shiny silk shirt beat Jesse 2 sets in a row. I only saw those two sets and don't know if they had played others before I got there. I remember that between the both of them they probably missed two or three times for both sets! The only reason the other got to the table was due to a dry break! It was like they were attacking that Valley table. Anyway, Jesse was done but when the 2nd set money was being counted out on the table Jesse asked Shane to play some 9 and Shane quickly declined:eek: Not sure he would do that today but it would be cool to see a long race between the two on TAR.

I'm not saying Chris plays as good as Shane, but next to Shane he is the best money player in the USA IMHO. And it's not just heart, the guy plays world class. He is not some shortstop or low level pro that just matches up good. I don't wanna say anymore because it sounds like I'm kissing his ass...I'm just giving my honest opinion here.
