Who do you want to win

Now who do you think will win, but who would you like to see win, and why.

Keith, because he's so fun to watch and is so nice to us here. nice to see him win, or repeat his 2003 performance

any of the AZ players

Rob Brandenburg, because he sometimes plays in the same hall as I do and wins lots of the local tourneys.

Luc Salvas, because he's canadian, and if he's in the finals, we'll get to see more of the match on tv than if there are two finalists who play slow like archer.

For Keith to win would be awesome. I thought he had it in the bag when I saw him play in 2003. It was like tripping the light fantastic! I love watching him play.

Of course, any AZ or BD player.

Earl Strickland 'cause he absolutely one of my favs

The list can go on and on and on and on...

Mika Immonen, he should have this title under his belt.

Joonas Ohtonen, my friend from Jyvaskyla at this year's Open.

Bustamante, it should be about time to get himself a major title.

Any AzB'er. For obvious reasons.

Hmm, how about FL winning the Open and then letting him start posting here, eh ? :p

Earl Strickland - He's my all-time favorite, already
won it 5 times but 6 would be sweet.

Jim Rempe or Jose Parica - two great players, it's a
shame neither has won it before, and they may not
have many more years with a realistic chance to win.

Being from NYC, it would be great to see Tony Robles
or any of the NYC players pull it off.

Kim Davenport just for trying to accomplish what he is doing after a major eye injury.
Plus he seems like a class act.

Blackballed, of course.

After that, though, would be nice to see any of these guys win:

Archer
Robles
Hohmann

I gotta be pulling for Keith and Rodney. The Rocket is shooting some good pool on the international front, so he may be ready for the challenge. Don't count out the young guns such as Gabe or Danny. I don't think this a tourney Corey can win though...too many variables.

With Nick Varner doing so well in the Carolina's, wouldn't it be a treat to see him conquer the open 1 more time?

Archer and Bustamante have to be the odds on favoriates to meet each other in the finals, but you never know when Efren might have a flashback like at the Derby City. I say that if the equipment breaks soft and Efren breaks good, he may indeed make another appearence in the finals.

I know that I'm stubborn, but I still contend that Efren and Bustamante are the greatest 9-ball players in the World, and that our only chance against them is the great Johnny Archer. Naturally, anyone can beat them at any time, and it's happened in the past, but I know that if I had to put an American in the box with either of these two artists, it would be JA.

I am rooting for the Canadians. Tyler Edey, PJ Massicote, and Edwin Montal are likely going from Calgary, and if Mike Vidas, Brady Gollan, Erik Hjorlefson, and other Canadians head out there I will be watching their progress. Those 6 players are a tough match for anyone.

Ernesto Dominguez
Dave Hemmah
Tang Hoa (I don't know if he's going this year though)

I would love to see Keith win the Open and I will be sweating as many of his matches as I can.

My second choice would be Jose Parica.

Both came close, in 2003.

I would like to see Jui Lung Chen win it. I guess I'm partial to him considering he's from Dallas. :D
