I really don’t see why that is a problem. Part of the reason she is invited into the commentators booth is because of who her significant other is. I’d much rather she say what she feels than spout out some corporate non speak!

It’s a problem because she was clearly biased, and her comment wasnt true. I know she felt that Fedor got every bad roll, but he didnt. Her bias showed. It’s that simple. She as his SO needs to check herself if she’s going to be in the booth. This is a comment on professional commentary for a professional event. It’s also a comment on good common sense.

Is the 8 ball WC the only 8 ball event on the "tour"? I actually can't think of any others since the IPT days. Except Pat's invitational event one year 10 some years ago, and some random barbox events that are mostly amateur with some pros sprinkled in.

I also vaguely recall Hopkins made his event 8 ball maybe 15 years ago for one year.

Better yet, what happened to Tony Robles? Wasn't he the announcer for these predator events last year? He was really good.
