Looks good. I like the shootout rules which they mentioned somewhere FB
:)

This is my favorite. I never liked that a player could use a jump cue to continue their run if they were the ones that hooked themselves because of bad position, there should be a penalty.

I like the jump shot rules. I don't like take what you make unless they introduce a push out rule. I like the idea of lagging for first break and for the shootout. I don't understand the logic of switching from alternate break to winner breaks (and would instead prefer to see "steal" the break, i.e. starts alternate and then when a player wins 2 racks on the spin that player keeps the break).

On balance, it's great - and it's particularly good to see the version of pool that most people play being given a high profile. I hope it does as well as it deserves to do - and leads in a few years to more sponsorship, referees for every match and a greater level of professionalism in the professional game. I don't agree with all of the rules but I support them fully.

... I don't understand the logic of switching from alternate break to winner breaks ...

I imagine it's because the races will be shorter for the first 3 rounds. Alternate break for the shorter races and winner breaks for the longer races.

Darren might get some objections on the tattoos-must-be-covered rule, which would require guys like Lee Van C. and Jayson S. to wear long-sleeved shirts.

sissy breaks allowed?

Could be an issue with soft break.. Making a ball on the break is hard when you are outside the box and have to hit the head ball. Some will probably choose a soft break, barely driving 4 balls to the rail.

Could also be some interesting 3 foul attempts since that rule is in play again

Lets hope they have generous time schedules.

Ah yes of course. Still not a fan of winner breaks in tournaments but that does make sense.
