Okay, the brackets are up. Who do you think will finish in the top 4?

Mine are: Allison, Gerda, Tiffany Nelson and Ga Young Kim.

Sarah Ellerby should get to round 3 where she will meet Helena and if the balls roll right for her she has a good chance of beating her. But she needs her best game.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!??!?!!? I dunno why I have to back myself up; I mean I knew I was going to have to, but not with you...geez. :rolleyes: Plain and simple. Nelson, K. Fisher, and Herndon have now all made the TV rounds. I am not sure about Tiffany (Gremlin may know, but I'm on his "ignorant list" :D :D so he won't see this reply) but K. Fisher and Herndon have made their appearances more than once, so by no means are these guys risky picks. Rousey on the other hand as come close. She has defeated some of the best players on tour, thus proving that she can do it. And to be honest, it's about time she gets it done. She CAN do it...it's just WILL she??

I'm glad you went safe with your picks Mike...but please remember, several of those you picked have not made it to the final four in recent tourneys. Times are a changing...you should know that...you are a dirty hippie by your own definition, right? BTW, good luck if you are playing in Memphis this weekend. :)

And trust me; I don't need to fill out any applications.........

In fact, I think a good idea would be to put who you think will finish in the top 4, then put who you would like to see there.

Everybody is forgetting that Jennifer Barretta is in this tournament too. I think she might finish very well. Jennifer has done everything but win an event, and this could be her week.

I don't understand why people are not putting Corr's name up there towards the very top. Isn't she the #2 ranked player? Wasn't she POY for a couple of years? Am I missing something?

That would be great! Corr in the 3rd round will make things difficult for her though. If she can knock off that one, it might provide enough momentum to carry her deep into the winners side.

Because Liz Schwartzreich is going to knock her to the loser's side New York-style in the first round and how will Corr be able to recover after that?

Just kidding. I like Corr a lot. Nice lady with a monster game but I'm pulling for the hometown. But in all seriousness, to exclude Corr from a top 4 prediction would be foolish. Oh, and Liz is going to whoop her!
 
Good point about Karen. And, she is probably PO'd in her quiet nice way about her finish in the last tournament. She may be looking to do some serious whoopin' herself!
