THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS TRADITIONAL CUE, AND WITHOUT QUESTION ONE OF THE BEST CONVERSIONS I'VE EVER HAD. NICE TIGHT VENEERS, WITH BRIGHT COLORS. THIS ONE IS A NICE DARK ROSEWOOD. (THIS IS 1 OF 2 CONVERSIONS I HAVE LISTED, THE OTHER IS A LIGHTER ROSEWOOD) ALL THIS GREAT WORK WAS DONE BY RYAN THEEWEN OF RAT CUES.

IVORY PILOTED 5/16 14 JOINT, IVORY HOPPE RING, AND (2) NICE DARK DENSE SHAFTS WITH IVORY FERRULES. BUTT WEIGHS 14.9 OUNCES, THE SHAFTS ARE BOTH 13.15mm, AND 4.2 AND 4.3 OUNCES. THIS CUE IS BRAND NEW, UNCHALKED.

$old SHIPPED AND INSURED

Beautiful. Ryan is VERY experienced. Love the thick rings too. Is that a stainless pin?

I have a RAT-Sneaky and it plays like Hell. This should be an amzing player and its timeless beautyfull...

THIS CUE HAS A GREAT TAPER ON IT, AND I'M SURE IT'S A GREAT PLAYER. MAYBE I'LL HAVE TO TEST DRIVE ONE BEFORE THEY SELL.

Whose blank is it?

CHRIS IS CORRECT...... THIS CUE IS BUILT ON A VERY OLD, ONE PIECE BRUNSWICK TITLIST BLANK. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST TITLIST BLANKS CUES I'VE EVER COME ACROSS. MOST OF THE TIME THE COLORS ARE "WASHED OUT" OR A HANDLE NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO MAKE THE BLANK USEABLE. BUT THIS ONE, AND THE OTHER RAT CONVERSION I HAVE LISTED ARE MADE FROM THE RARE BLANKS WITH NICE COLORS, AND ENOUGH "GIRTH" TO LEAVE THE CUE FULLSPLICE.

Beautiful cue...if I were not on disability, it would MINE!

Just a word...I think when someone uses the word "blank" it can be confusing because a "blank" is most often used to describe an unfinished cue. Although many Titlist blanks did exist at one time, most conversions are now made from old Titlist (finished) cues. So when someone says "blank" now, many of us think it is a modern tribute, because BBC is no longer making Titlist "blanks". One might ask, "what's the difference?" The main difference is "blanks" were very much over-sized and could easily be made into wrapless cues. It is very difficult and rare to find a finished Titlist to convert into a wrapless cue. The price reflects this rarity and this is just one of the reasons I would NOT buy a wrapless conversion from just anyone w/o having seen the original Titlist before conversion. Ryan is one of the few builders I WOULD be confident in buying a wrapless conversion in a heartbeat! GL with sale!

Marcus... I asked Ryan if he had any special info about this pair of Titlists, and as he was working he remembered this -
Ryan's shop had traded a customer some stuff for a whole box of original Titlist parts from Brunswick that this guy had gotten from them when they quit making the Hoppe Titlists.
The butt cap, and all of the ivory (Hoppe ring, joint collar, and ferrules) on this cue, & the other one you still have, are from original Brunswick Titlist stock.
Pretty cool. Thought you'd like to know.
