Lock N Load, Best wishes for your father to have a fast recovery, will say a prayer for him at Church Sunday. As for your friend, hope he is in Heaven at the pool hall. I know how you must feel. We lost a Son last month, he was only 37. Such a waste. God bless. Casey

I really do appreciate your prayers and concern for my dad and me. Thank you very much for your concern. I am sorry to hear about your son. May he RIP... Casey, did you see the look on my face at the pool hall? I was very upset and feeling bad! I should not have tried to play any pool at all! It is hard to play pool when you are hurting inside and upset. I really did not care about that game of pool I tried to play.... thanks again Casey, I'm doing a little better now. This thread definitely got me thinking back to my days in the late 60's early 70's of drag racing & pool hustling.
Sounds like you have some great memories from the Chevy vs. Mopar days.

Give us a update of your dads progress.
I would like to know how he is doing.

Yes indeed! I can relate to Chevy VS. Mopar days, be there or be square! Saturday night under the lights. Sox and Martin VS. Bill Grumpy Jenkins! those were the days. Thank you again.

As crazy as this sounds, I have often found solace in the pool room just hitting balls alone with no particular goal in mind, when I have been heavily troubled.

It sounds like you have been hit with a double whammy. I'm sorry to hear about your dad and friend. Wishing your dad a quick recovery.

I thank you for your warm and kind words. I go to the pool hall more now than ever, for the reason you stated in your reply. Talking to guys like you and many others. JoeyA, I appreciate having a friend like you. It means a lot to me.

Someone said something about my threads on you tonight. My answer was you are my friend! If they do not like them please do not read them! Another guy on AZB said tonight that the thread about my dad and friend was weird being posted on a pool forum! Another AZB member answered his questions and statement so good until I did not even answer him.
You can talk about anything on AZB. But you cannot talk about family problems. Thanks again JoeyA. Congrats, on your great finish in Thibodaux, Louisiana. May God bless you and your family....
