Cue Tip

First off sorry if this is in wrong section. I recently re tipped my cue at a pool hall. They said it was a moori tip. Now I may just be paranoid, but it's black, and every moori tip I find online is brown. Here are pics of my tip. Are there black Moori tips? Or did I just pay $40 total for something less? Thanks, again sorry for random question and if I posted in wrong section.

I have never seen a black Moori tip but that does not mean they are not made. However It may be a kamui which is black and is worth 40 as well. The real question you have to ask yourself is do you ike it and if you do then it does not matter. If you dont like it, bring it to the attention of the person who did the repair and point out that you wanted a moori brown and that this tip does not seem to be that and see if there is some kind of arangement you can come up with. If you like it lkeep it, if you dont like it ask yourself if it is because you truly dont like the way it plays or is it because you feel sligfhteds that you did not get the exact thing you asked for. Honestly some of the best tips i have ever played with were not exactly what i wnated but i tried them anyway and fell in love. The newest tip i have tried out is an ultra skin and I and telling everyone about them. Irpnically they are black as well. just saying...

It looks like he just used a black magic marker on the sidewalls. A lot of ppl do that to tan tips.

If it's a "new" tip, it seems to be missing several layers. I fail to understand why so many layers would be removed from an 11-or-so-layer Moori or Kamui.
