good luck with that cue, its a shame its the way it is. I sure do hope they make it right for you. Thats a low move to raffel off a cue with problems, I put a post in your thread that you should read.

I see your friends with Smokey, he is a great guy, He has been to my house to play a couple times, i wish he would come over more often.

Tennessee is a big state, where do you live? I'm in Knoxville, and am also thinking of getting a good instructor. I also have a table in my basement and put a lot of time in there, but I know getting that live feedback is valuable and will help me to improve my game. Do you know any instructors in my area?
