Pia Filler Makes History as First (and only) Female Pro on WNT

So something I think is perhaps being ignored here, is we do not know if other women (perhaps higher ranked from a Fargo perspective) turned this down already, Also, it's difficult currently to afford the travel/ entries e.t.c to be a full time tour player, and having this last slot go to...

    How to combat slow players?

I find not watching them play helps, watch other tables , watch TV, send a text.

Matchroom 2024 World Pool Masters (25-28 April), Germany, Winner $40K

Right, I am just saying he has an Avenue to guarantee an invite, if you leave it up to wildcards you are at mercy of powers that be and whatever whims. Anyways it's a pretty stacked field , I am looking forward to it

Matchroom 2024 World Pool Masters (25-28 April), Germany, Winner $40K

Fedor and Shane got in based on ranking, so his country is irrelevant. Sky needs to move himself up the rankings to guarantee himself an invite 🤷‍♂️

Frustrated with my own slow play in 8 ball

I hope you find a way to speed up, practicing with a shot clock seems like a good idea. I do not really agree with tinman above really about playing as slow as you need to in order to play your best as excessively slow play ruins the game for your opponent, ruins the tournament often if you...

Fargo rating curve compared to golf handicap?

20-25 handicaps I'd think would be much lower on this Fargo scale. I think this is likely skewed too high I'd think im also a better pool player than golfer sitting about 600 but high single digit golf handicap

    Mosconi cup to florida

I doubt Shane would want to be the captain from how he is perceived generally in team environments

    Mosconi cup to florida

Long as it fills up and the arena has a good atmosphere it'll be fine? (Speaking only as a viewer though with no intention of going)

CONGRATULATIONS SVB!!!!! on Becoming the PLP Champion.

Tennis is also much longer, with almost every point (15-0,30-0 ) e.t.c being almost equivalent to a pool rack in terms of all the back and forth between players. If 9 ball was a race to 100 at every round of a tournament it might be more likely.

What the pros do differently ...

Think filler uses stun around the table a little more than other pros do. Have heard JJ mention this in commentary previously

What the pros do differently ...

I think part of the reason some of the top players are favoring less cue ball movement now is the always slick/ fresh felt the slide on them off multiple rails is tougher to predict and control

Matchroom WNT Premier League Pool (PLP) 18-25 March2024, Connecticut, $100K Prize Fund

Much stronger than in past years, Were any of the wildcards even under 800 Fargo? Bernie I think was lowest at 790+ They didn't perform well, but I wouldn't say they were weak.
