  • Hi again. Yes I believe the i3 produces the least cue ball squirt, but keep in mind the conical taper. It gets thicker quicker which I seem to like better. Go to the McDermott site. I believe you can order the i2 in different tip sizes if you would prefer a pro taper. It too produces little cue ball squirt. They both feel very much like a 'regular' shaft to me. I think it is the full carbon core insert that reduces the whippy vibrations of other LD shafts which I can't stand. McD. also has the G-Core which I forgat about. It has the carbon core only in the front end of the shaft & is less costly. I think about $125. If I were you I would also check for a McD. dealer near your area & they should have some demo shafts. Again, good luck with your final decision.
