I've changed the joint insert on a Cynergy using black linen phenolic. touchy part is getting the old insert out without damaging the cf. But it works and has lasted 3 months. 3/8-14 to radial.

Flat-lam shafts I've been using them for 10+ years and have very few that warp. I shoot with 4 that have been straight for over 7 years.:o
