I can't imagine using a phenolic tip for every day use beyond breaking. I do use it for practice. If I feel I am getting in the habit of using too much english to work my way around a table, I pull out my break cue and play games with that. I miscue like crazy if I try any sort of power draw...

They are registered through GoDaddy using DomainsByProxy. DBP is a way to register anonymously and they pay for this service. Obviously they don't want anyone knowing who owns the site which is a very bad thing for a commerce site. I'd stay away from that.

The Sardo Tight Rack does that I believe, but there's more than just that. I don't know them all.

Good post. I also usually use the diamonds to gauge position. For instance, I might walk up to my next shot and realize I want to get the cueball to land an inch or so before the first diamond so I can have shape on my next ball that I need to get to the ball after that.

You have to throw in some Walmart cues too. Give some room for people to really embarrass themselves. :thumbup:

Just an update: We are the 2008 Summer League Champions. :D I couldn't have possibly played better and my team definitely played well. It was a close match but we pulled it out and were numero uno this season. :thumbup:

Not a great story by any means, but it happened last night and I thought it was funny. We were playing doubles for 5/stick and a guy comes up and puts quarters down. My partner and I lose and this guy is up. Terry tells him that they're playing doubles but this guy only wants to play singles...
