I own a small room in Florida. Have 14 tables. All are Gold Crowns except snooker table. My customer base is generally older and they really like the fact they don't need to bend over and retrieve balls from a low hanging box. I never need to realign the tracking system to get balls into a box...
8' tables
I managed a poolroom in central Florida. We had 8 - 8' tables. Only two were Diamonds. These were the only 8' tables in the area as far as I know. The general playing public didn't care 8' from 9'. They only wanted to play on a "regulation" table. Unless space is a problem, why...
So the answer to the question is ........ I'm looking to buy multiple tables also. I keep hearing Diamond sells these floor tables when the Expo is over but Diamond seems reluctant to sell them.
The room I used to manage was a Mom and Pop place that just handed out balls. It's too easy to just say a drivers license was lost or stolen. Never had a ball lost or stolen and walk outs were maybe 2 in 11 years.
Spalted Maple
This is what my playing cue is made from (not from this seller, but this type). I can't play without at least a couple of people telling me the stick is very unusual and beautiful.
The cue arrived at my place on Monday. I just had eye surgery Thursday afternoon and haven't been on line for a week or so. As soon as I get an address, I will forward the cue. Sorry if I caused concern over this.

PS I found out you were looking for me when I wondered into Waldo's tonight to...
I actually got to touch the Schon and hit a few balls with it. Then you told me it was your very own private player. I know I could never do justice to the master's cue. I think the price on this Omen is less than what you wanted for the "Holy Grail" of sticks. I bow to the master's opinion of...
This is a really nice looking cue in person. I know it's way out of my price range, but I would have liked to touch it or even hit a ball or two with it.  :p
Not that I know anyone that would do this or anything, but if the car he drives had a violation to get him stopped. Maybe something like a tail light broken or a tag light out, money would come yur way a bit quicker.
Someone is actually going to hit balls with this? It looks like a piece of fine furniture. I'd need to take it out and polish it everyday ad ver get close to a table.
Okay, I'm new. Up and running agian from what? I find myself in about the same confused state as the original poster. I have a couple of Jim Shao cues (KC Industries) and thought I liked them until I used a Runde-Schon one night. The Schon's balance is great to say the least. I'm not so up on...
This is my first post and I have a question that might sound a bit strange, but I don't know that I've ever heard the subject discussed before. Butts are measured in inches. Cue length is measured in inches. Shaft length and diameter are measured in inches. Joint sizes are measured in inches...
