I don’t run the one pocket tournaments at Bogies, but help coordinate and get the message out to players. Regarding your tournament, I would suggest 9 ball. Seniors are much more familiar with 9 ball than ten ball and the better player has a big advantage in ten ball. You want the tournament to be as competitive as possible. There are some very good players 65 and over and you may want some kind of restrictions on known pros, games on the wire or something, or restrict the tournament to players with a Fargo rating under a certain number. Fargo rating is a pretty good guideline . Have it in a player friendly room with enough tables they are willing to give up for three days and added money helps. Keep the entry fee low to get enough players. Anything else I can do to help, let me know. John
