Filler was really impressive in the Longoni Benelux Open over the weekend.
He looks like he has all the tools to be a really special player. Looking forward to seeing him in bigger tournaments in the future.

He has something called the 'aim frame' that lets you measure out fractional aiming shots.
It allows you to set up practice shots anywhere on the table...and the really great thing about it is that the angles are set to account for cue ball throw.
All those players in town for the tournament, and all the New York locals.... they wouldn't be able to set up some money matches on the side to cover costs?
From the outside, it just looks like they don't want to support Appleton's venture for whatever reason.
Same here....waited about 2 months for him to set up my Gold Crown. Well worth the wait though....did a fantastic job, and a really great guy. Table plays PERFECT!

I was in that situation.....spent a while researching and picking out my dream table to set up in our house.
If I was doing it over again, I wouldn't change a thing.......find an old Gold Crown 1 or 2 in great shape, have a top table mechanic extend the sub rails to my liking and set up the...
Their sponsors wouldn't agree if increasing the quality brought in more viewers.
Also, sometimes that mediocre quality is there on a pay per view, and you don't know it until the tournament has started. A reason why I won't be a repeat customer on a lot of pay per views.
Like Fastone said....the fact that it's brunstone makes no difference IMO.
The main things I'd look for are major cracks running through the 'slate', and if all the parts match up. You might need the eye of a table mechanic to know for sure if the table's been pieced together from different...
