It really all boils down to the location, what kind of business the tables are in, and how they play. If I can play at a place 2.5 hours away all night for 5 dollars full of players and Diamonds as opposed to .50 cents a rack with a bunch of bangers and kids running around I would gladly spend...

That sounds about right. I was watching it on UStream. I have never seen it before and really couldn't understand it by the little bit I was watching. The balls look a lot bigger.

I want to know how you go from putting together 3 packs in 9 ball to not being able to break and run 6 balls. The pockets on that 8 footer must need a stretcher LOL! Good luck and happy banging.

I played on a Diamond that was just recently covered and it had a set of cyclops balls on it. The skid on that table was awful.

I shot at Rusty's in Arlington yesterday. I may go back tonight.

The numbers are some that I just threw out there. I would be lucky to run 1 out of 100 racks. I could shoot for 8 hours and have 1 break and run. I was just wondering how much time y'all thought it would take to adjust from a bar box to a 9 foot and still be considered the same speed player...

I realize that as a player you want to classify your "speed". What is it A-D? I was just wondering how would you rate a player when he has been running 4 out of 10 racks on a Valley bar box for 10 years and then put him on a 9 foot Diamond and he can't run 4 balls to save his life. I realize it...

You know I only get to play about twice a month, if that. Up until this year I didn't shoot for about two years. I guess you got to throw some money out there to get someone to play around here. :eek:

Yeah I have enjoyed myself so far. There is a lot to do here. I played at Rusty's last night and it was pretty dead. I was there from 11 to 2 and it really died after 1 or so.

I'm shooting in the 9 ball tourney at Rusty's Thursday night. I would play some after the tournament to pass the time. I'm not good enough to play for money though. Maybe they would still want to play. Thanks, Adam
