Thanks I'm there now,it's 2-2.and man is Mary getting slammed in the chatt box!!!
I realize that Mary isn't exactly a strong player, but give me a break. This commentary is borderline childish.
It's over!!7-2 Ms.Melissa takes it down,and yeah Mary was "REALLLLLY" was getting slammed,I was kinda starting to feel bad for her especially when she kept missing those easy shots.
Mary had ball in hand on the 1ball with the 2ball out in the open. The commentators were laughing at her, predicting that she wouldn't even get on the 2ball.
Okay, Mary did butcher the shot and hook herself like a D player, but was talking that much trash really necessary? I realize that they have a history with Mary, but at least *try* to be professional and stay objective.
And for the record, I'm not a fan of Mary (quite the contrary). However such trash talk was only lowering the standards to her level. If Mary really plays that bad, then her poor play will be apparent. There's no reason to flat out say it.

My internet connection insisted that I take a break during Tina's match and I was just able to sign back on so I didn't see or hear anything.
I understand some frustration out of the commentary if it was as you say it was. That being said, if you would like to find the positive in something that you consider negative I've got another way for you to look at the situation. A few years ago there was some animosity between Ms. Huang & Ms. Pawloski (for what reason I don't know) and it appears as if they have found some common ground to bond with. :thumbup:

Well, let that be a lesson to everyone who feels the need to get out of line, and make false claims while being ignorant to people in the process.

it's tough to play on stream even for more experienced players. I do feel bad for her, but ...karma...

Yea I feel "a little" bad for her too but I did learn something. Karma comes in all colors but red seems the most prevalent for some reason
Why am I not surprised that Tina was one of the commentators acting like a fool? She is a legend in her own mind.
Someone brought up Mary Avina in the "the hottest girl in pool!!!!" thread on page 44, then a whole discussion started about whether she can play pool or not. Mary, herself, chimed in adding fuel to the fire.

Then a new thread was created specifically to discuss the challenge match. I honestly don't know exactly what happened as I didn't follow the entire thread. I, as well as many others, were waiting for the match to happen and it never did.

I agree that the constant "Slamming" of Mary by the two "ladies" in the booth was not very attractive....... to say the least! I found myself pulling for Mary......... although I had no idea who she was! The commentary was not close to being professional. It was way out of line in my opinion!
Sorry ladies, but I've seen both of you play...... and you both have a ways to go to be champions, yourselves.
If you don't have anything good to say........... just keep quiet........ at least when you are in the position of commentating a match!

I personally don't have a beef with anybody,lucky me huh?lol...she was self promoting and made a few claims that were to easy to disprove,and as far as that thread I followed it and Mary just quit responding,smart on her part if your not going to offer and appology which is what omgwtf was saying she should do.
