GOOD NEWS I received the cabinet!!!!!

More details posted further in the thread......Post #15

It is with regret that I write this.

I had purchased a cue display case from Andy Rounceville back in April.

In May he shipped the display case to me. The case was never delivered. It was damaged during transit and was returned to Andy.

I talked to him during this process.

I have given him time to make the necessary repairs, and I began trying to contact him a few weeks ago.

I have not been able to reach him by PM, E-mail, or by phone.

I paid $530 for the cabinet and $130 for shipping.

If anybody knows how to contact him please send me a PM. I just want my money back at this point.

Thanks,

Scott

I think someone else had similar issues with the way the case was shipped, and it was damaged. I don't know how he responded in that case.

Yes, that was my thread. Give him some time to respond. I don't think he checks email or PM's much on the computer. I seem to remember that this was side work for him.

As stated he did right, and I am sure he will do right with you.

You might be better calling him on the phone. Do you have his number?

I have tried calling, e-mail, and PM.

PM is full and will not accept messages.

Cell phone will not accept messages.

No response to e-mails.

Thanks,

Scott

my display case arrived with some damage. it took a little time but he did fix the problem. he seems like a good guy and I am pleased with the case.

Sorry about your problem.

Ken

Still haven't heard from him.

Voice mail, e-mail, text message. no response.

Maybe I am the person that saves everybody else their hard earned money.

Still an expensive lesson.....

What is the next step I can take?

Thanks for looking.

I had similar issues with mine...It was damaged in transit but was delivered and salvagable. Andy is definetly lacking in packaging experience. I have heard story after story of his cabinets being damaged in transit. When I got mine it was very, very... poorly packaged..

Thanks.

Mine was so badly damaged that the shipper returned it to Andy. I never even saw it.

Now I just want the cabinet or my money back. Going on 5 months.....

Paid by Check.

Hindsight is always 20/20

This is the first deal I have had that went bad here on AZB.

I don't want any confusion here. This deal started out fine. Only after the case was damaged during transit did it go bad. I never received the case.

I have not been able to reach Andy. I have left messages. Somebody PM'ed me a different phone number to try. I will run that down.

I haven't completely lost hope....If I did, I would file a police report. <-- I DON"T WANT TO HAVE TO RESORT TO THAT.

I want to give him a chance to make it right.

Same thing here... the guy doesn't understand how to adequately protect his cabinets when packaging them. I shipped it back to him... he repaired it... and I accepted it back but it was flawed. Aside from the crown being cracked the rest of the damage was caused by the fact that he didn't secure the key... as a result, it floated around the inside of the packaging doing damage all over the display case... not too smart imo.

Hopefully, he has learned something from all of the damaged cases that he has shipped. :o

Srober40 - Do a google seach on his name and hometown. I did that some back and I believe that it yielded a home phone number.

Arounceville Good News

Let me start off by saying that I have received the cue cabinet that I ordered from Andy Rounceville today.

The cabinet made it to me with minimal damage. (shipped by UPS) The packaging was damaged slightly. The damage to the cabinet was so minimal that I think I can repair it myself. (Some of the back came away from the cabinet. Nothing a few tacks won't take care of.)

Thanks to the folks here on AZB I was able to get in touch with Andy. When I talked to him, the case was already in transit.

The first time he shipped it, the case was so badly damaged that he had to do extensive repairs to it. The repairs came out great and I actually like the new design better.

Unfortunately Andy told me he is still fighting with FedEx in regards to the damage claim.

I had not lost hope that Andy would take care of it. I wanted to be as patient as possible. Who knows what others are going through in their personnel and professional lives. It bothered me more that I could not reach him more than anything. If he needed more time I would have been o.k. with it.

Andy came through.

I am a satisfied customer. The cabinet is beautiful. When I can figure out how to re-size pictures I will post one.

Thanks,

Scott

Glad to hear it worked out and I am looking forward to seeing some pictures of your new cue cabinet.

Nice looking case. Glad to see this issue resolved.

It's a real shame that people have to resort to posting topics like this to get Andy to take care of business though. If he brought his packaging & customer service up to the same level as his cases, he'd be much more successful.
