Trudeau banned from participation in production or publication of any infomercials

Trudeau I am sure has lots of GREEN already, so I am sure he will not hurt for his next meal.

but if the NEWS is real he may not be able to victimize any more people.

No big deal. He will just do more of the same formula through shell companies and shills.

Now it's going to be called "Legal Remedies They Don't Want You to Know About".

Folks:

I'm not sure if this had been posted previously; can't find mention of it in AZBilliards' forum searches (my bad if it'd been posted previously), but here's the link:

I believe this is the outcropping/conclusion of the same Federal investigation that gulfportdoc alerted us to:

That is FUNNY JB.

I heard a totally unfounded rumor that, due to being cut off from the infomercial market, he was resorting to robbing custom cue makers and Pro shops ;-)

In all seriousness though, how can selling $46 million of books only net $5.1 million? They can't cost more than a few bucks each to print.

thats little low, but air time is expensive, its alot more than printing costs, no buisness is that simple

typical direct marketing yields a 15%-25% profit margine, If it was simple as printing costs then sure he would have made more but advertizing, phone time, taxes, payroll, shipping eat all the $$$ up fast.

Plus I am SURE that a lot of "expenses" were due to high priced CONSULTANTS in places like Belize and Barbados where the money "paid" for their services is safe from U.S. jurisdiction.

"Money Laundering Techniques I Don't Want Them to Know About", Kevin Trudeau.

You know, one thing I have to give him credit is that the man is a genius when it comes to marketing.

I remembered watching 1 or 2 of his infomercials on TV. Fully aware in advance that I don't believe in what he said, I paid close attentions to mainly how he conducts his business. Wow, he was good.

If he goes straight, there is no doubt in my mind that he would still make money.

It's easy to be a successful (for a while) marketer as long as you are willing to flat out lie and tell people what they want to hear.

The problem comes in when it's time to deliver on that golden promise.

He is not a genius Mike, he is a sociopath who preys on the weakest members of our society. It's true that we all have a choice whether to believe him, whether to buy into his bunk. The fact is though that there are a lot of desperate people out there who do grasp at "salvation" when it comes pre-packaged for $29.95.

Maybe the IPT was Kevin's attempt to go straight. Who knows? But he used the same formula, sell the dream, don't deliver the goods. I think somewhere he wanted this one to be real. He wanted to be able to buy a sport and set himself up as the godfather of pool. I bought into it and was willing to give him a chance to prove it. He let me down just as he let millions of others down who bought his snake-oil "cures".

So, sorry to disagree with you on this one Buddy but I don't think either of us really wants to adhere to the Trudeau school of marketing.

Maybe the word "genius" can imply "goodness", which is not what I wanted to express.

If we take away the "rights" and "wrongs" of things, I have to say that he is one of the best, if not the best, at what he does. There are many people doing -or attemting to do- what he does/did, but no one is as good as he is. He is in a class by himself. And this is what I meant when I used the word "genius".

As long as we have known of each other, I also believe that neither one of us will ever be caught dead doing what he does.

I can agree with that. He is the slickest and most convincing at what he does. I think the FTC did him a favor by restricting him to books in the previous ruling. They allowed him to go far beyond where he was before just hawking physical goods. Now he could be the underdog fighting "the man".

You're right, if he would turn that intelligence to something on the good side of the force then he could probably be quite successful.
