I picked up two of the Cash Cues when Tommy was doing that deal to help out AZ....

I was shooting some with my son tonight, we played for about 3 hours. We played some one pocket...nine ball....8 ball and a quick straight pool game. Before we started I said here are the cues we have to use. I took out the 2 Cash Cues a Balabushka I just got, and a Mike Morgan which is my playing cue.

We kept swapping cues like every half hour or so and heres what we found. The Balabushka played incredible as expected, and the Morgan played pretty close to it, my son thoufgt there was a larger difference between those two. But we both thought that the Cash Cues played absolutely incredible ...at least at the level of the Bushka if not a bit better.

I loved the thinner handle and the weight balance, the amount of english I could put on the ball was amazingly high as well as effortless..................

In a nutshell we were both very impressed with how these two cues played

Congrats to Jess June and Morris Cash......these cues are winners

Thanks Tikkler. It is good we hit our mark with Cash cues. Highest quality and playability at an affordable price with supporting AZ as a main focus.

Its all about a thinner handle, i have noticed more accuracy and feel with a thinner lighter cue. Do you guys feel the same?

Cash cues are 1.26 or 1.27 in the butt. I believe Tikkler was using a 1.30+ Balabushka butt in comparasion. That being said, a Cash cue can be ordered with a thinner taper.

Thats pretty standard. I like these dimensions; 0.90 at the top of the grip and 1.18 at the bottom of the grip 1.20 at the bottom with a weight at 17.6 oz.
Do you know of anyone that makes cues similar to these dimensions?

I don't know about a thinner handle, but when it comes to weight, I'm actually in the opposite camp. I used to play with a lighter (sub 19 oz.) cue, but have spent time with, and now really like the feel from a heavier, 19.5 oz.+ cue. Not only is there a more solid feel to it, but I've also noticed it's easier to move the cb around with a heavier cue.

I ran this question by Dennis Searing, and he said that (for him), the ideal weight would be between 19.5 and 20 oz. He mentioned that a really light cue (probably under 19 oz., but he didn't specify) creates what he calls a "Bouncing off effect", where the cue doesn't really move through the cueball, but has to be pushed through it. Dennis picked this up from Mizerak who really liked a heavy (21+ oz.) cue. He said heavier cues had way more feel to them. The Miz then had Dennis set up some shots and shoot them with both a light cue and a heavy cue.

There was no contest in Dennis's book... the heavy cue won hands down.

One other thing I have noticed is that a heavier cue tends to smooth out my stroke a bit more. Before I thought it was just that I was letting the heavier cue do more of the work. After talking to Dennis, it seems like there is no way a light cue can do the work a heavier cue can, and that's why it takes a different stroke to get the cb to move in the same way. This stroke is more of a push stroke, so that's why it doesn't seem as fluid as the stroke you can use with a heavier cue.
