A fellow AZB'r is in need of help. Trevor's (IA8baller) son is in the hospital with E-coli poisoning and is having complications. Trevor and his family have to stay at the hospital for an extended time. They do not have enough vacation to take off to cover all the time off from work. Let alone the expenses from the Hospital visit. It would be nice if we as a community could come together and donate some funds to Trevor and his family. Spare change to a large donation anything would help. Also there is a raffle being held for one of Trevor’s cues right now any help to get that filled would be great. My prayers are with Trevor and his family for a speedy recovery. Please see links below for more information.

Please send any donations directly to Trevor his paypal is
trvnic68@netins.net

If you can send them as a personal transaction as a gift he will get all the funds with out any paypal fees.

Gift just sent....where is the link for the raffle for the cue? I would like to join in for the raffle too. If I win, we can repost that cue again! All monies will go directly to Trevor's son. ~bryce

Troy,

You're awesome. Thanks for the gesture and your concern. I'm glad we've got to meet personally and have been able to do business together in the past and I know we'll be doing business in the future.

Just so there is no mis-information presented at all I just want to clarify that it is just me that has no paid time off available, my wife does have some time built up to be able to use. I just wanted to clarify that to everyone.

We all know the costs involved in extended critical care here in the Hospital and my loss of wages is going to hit me for over a Grand/wk but as I stated in another post, the $$$ issues don't mean squat, I just want my 5 yr old back to a normal, healthy, happy little boy. I'll take a prayer or a thought of well wishes and be just as/if not more than grateful than receiving a dollar. My family thanks you all and sends our love and appreciation in return.

I have never received a single dollar of charity that I can ever remember in my 41 years and to be quite honest it's a little humbling and a little bit of a blow to my pride but in this instance and under the current circumstances I just want to say to all of you helping out and buying into the raffle for the cue/case at this time.................

THANK YOU

Hmm...

I tell ya, I have been quite amazed at a lot of people here on AZ. The world in my eyes has been quite a crappy place lately, but here on AZ, there is so much compassion and friendship and I thank each of you for it.

I too am on the raffle and have bid on the cue that ends this Saturday.

Good luck to all, especially Trevor and his family.

Felix

Get in that raffle so we can get the $$ to Trevor and then dig deep and help out some more. A man who is devoted to his son is a man to be admired and helped. Trevor, it doesnt' hurt a bit to be humbled. A bit of humbling is good for the soul. Pride goeth before the fall.

Proving once again that az billiards forum is a family. A FAMILY!!

I'm with you on this one Felix. A great family of friends has emerged from this site. Miracles do happen when everyone pulls together. My prayers go out to Trevor and his family. Joshua is a brave kid and I know he'll get through this.

I was at dinner tonight with my family talking about the days events with what everyone was doing for Trevor and his family on AZBILLIARDS and my cell phone rings. It's Trevor taking time out to call me and say thank you. He said his son was getting prepped for another dialysis run. Wow second time now I believe. This is so hard on a 5 year old boy. I can't imagine what his son is going through at that age in the hospital. I am glad we as a AZB community have been able to ease Trevor's mind a bit with the out pouring of help that we did in just 24 hours. He is very very thankful and humbled that we all did this for him and his family. Hopefully this will be the last Dialysis his son has to go through and the results from it are positive. Again I thank the AZB community and Trevor and his Family thank you even more. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Trevor. It was nice to talk to you on the phone. I am grateful to be of help to you.

It was great to talk with you tonight Troy.

Joshua had his second night of dialysis tonight and will have it each night for at least the next few nights and possibly for the next week or more. It all depends on how quickly his little body decides to bounce back. The Doctors have told us to be prepared for the possibility of the dialysis being a daily thing for possibly up to two weeks or more. It's impossible to tell how quickly he'll recover. He's resting very well tonight thankfully.

The outpouring of donations and prayers and well wishes is definitely humbling and greatly appreciated. We have received several hundred dollars of direct donations into our Paypal account within the last 24 hours and my wife and I are simply overwhelmed with the AZ family's generousity. The raffle for the Jacoby cue and the Porper case was filled very quickly and I saw that we have some more generous souls donating items for auctions for Joshua's cause as well. Simply amazing. Our list of thank you's we'll need to send out to everyone is getting quite large.

I got a call from a good friend of mine tonight and he wants to donate a never chalked/hit Schon STL-4 out of his private collection to raffle off for Joshua's sake. Thank you Jim ......... thank you very much. I'll look into getting that raffle set up as soon as I can for those who missed a chance at the Jacoby but wanted to get in ......... it just filled up too fast for them to get in on it.

I'll keep updating Joshua's recovery for everyone here on the forums as much as I can.

All my best to all of you great people out there.

I'd like to suggest to the mods to keep this thread as a sticky, at least while Trevor's son is still in the hospital. All the best to you for starting this thread Troy
