Equipment: Antique 9 foot Brunswick
not sure about pocket size, will measure later
Set 1: (5,16,7,10,2,11,7,20,6,13) = 97 (11/26/05 12:30 PM)
comments: I was working on my defense

. Actually I'm getting used to the mind set. Nearly all misses were mental lapses. Only once when playing a breakout did I stick myself without a reasonable shot. I need to stay in the shot.
Set 2: (8,16,18,0,8,2,20,0,12,4) = 88 (11/27/05 12:30 PM)
comments: struggling with focus, as with yesterday (and last year) all missed shots were easily makeable. Sunday morning the football game was on, even though there were only about 6 people in the room each of two of them make more noise than a craps table on the 10th pass. Thats my excuse. My time was anything but wasted

.
Set 3: (9,8,18,10,9,7,7,3,14,12,9) = 106
Set 4: (9, 9, -1, 5,8 , 12, 6, 8, 3, 1) = 60

Notice I had a perfect rack in the third frame. I moved the cueball after the break took a -1 penalty and then missed!
Set 5: (7,6,12,8,12,8,1,6,8,10) = 78
total 429
I think I can improve, so here I go again
Set 1: (14,16,8,7,12,10,14,10,4,8) = 103
set 2: (12, 15, 7, 5, 16, 7, 5, 12, 20, 20) = 119
Now I feel better. I finally last night was able to start playing at a level somewhat approximating how I play in competition. I picked up the pace a bit and for the first time in this exercise finding myself shooting my way out of trouble. Still not a great score but improvement. I find it a challenge to maintain focus playing without an opponent but I’m starting to get my mind around it. The 5s and 7s were still mental lapses but I’m getting better at it.
