Dear All:

Over the last days of IPT last week, our TannerPruess has kindly used CueTable layouts to bring out IPT's daily highlighted tournament games everyday. The posts are great treats for people who doesn't have the privilege to be there. By looking at the diagrams we get to experience top notch performance by the pros there.

I have gathered layouts from all of his posts and formed a list below for people to study. If you are interested, please take a look at them, reply accordingly and share insights with everyone.

Thanks to IPT for raising the bar on tournament standards and bringing more excitement to this game.

A big thank you to Tanner, I believe your kind effort is greatly appreciated by serious pool fans here. Let's all give some props to Tanner everyone!

Diagram List to follow... Due to the length of all the links, I have broken it up to 3 parts. Enjoy!!

Whew! 20 layouts, Tanner. I had to break them up into 3 parts. This list took me half an hour to form. :)

If anyone has suggestions or comments on how to improve and make this a even greater experience for everyone, please let us know. We are also looking for people to help out in covering any future events such as USOpen and DirbyCityClassics.

Thanks Tanner! Also, thank you Wei for starting this thread! I for one really appreciate it and love studying these diagrams. Thanks again!

Thanks for everyone's kind words. Actually Tanner is the one who really deserves the props . He took the lead all by himself and spent a lot of time drawing up the diagrams. I did only some very minor tech support at this end. I will be honored to send a small gift to him as a way of saying "Thank you". Don't we all need more people like him in this world?

Also thanks to JSP who first suggested the idea of using CueTable to cover live events in one of the earlier IPT threads.

Let's go back to the diagrams...

I believe one can benefit from this little exercise:

1, Remove the lines on the first page <DeleteAllLines, hotkey: N>
2, Study the diagram as if you were going to play it.
3, Record what you would do in your thoughts.
4, compare it with the pros <PageUp and PageDown>.
5, Analyze their shots and try to find the reasons for what they do and don't do.

Please feel free to make the best use of everyone's effort.
As always, suggestions and comments welcome :)

I have two more matches coming: Putnam vs Nevel & Immonen vs Feijen. :D Hopefully I will get those diagrams up in the next day or two.
