As everyone knows I LOVE old Classic cues!

I came across this one the other day and can only find Small bits of information. I found a Small Catalog from Classic Cues and some other cues on Azbilliards. But Nothing this Nice.

Anything else I may find out would be AWESOME!

THANKS
ZACK

Something I hadn't noticed before, It looks like a Palmer blank was used to make it. You Might ask Tate about that. the veneer colors look Palmer to me though. Very nice!

Nice find!

Definitely the kind of stuff I dig.

Wish I could tell you more about it but the limits of what I would know have been covered.

The purple outer veneer definitely looks like the same ones used by Palmer. Dare we say the blank could have been Szamboti or Spain? A lot of those early ones were.

All the best,
WW

Definitely NOT Szamboti blank....

Looking at the length of the points from the base of where they meet, I would have to agree with you, Tim. Too short for Gus. More likely Spain, but there were probably others as well doing blanks. The purple outer veneer is interesting.

All the best,

It looks like an early Palmer shop made blank. Karl was involved with the Palmer shop and his designs are similar. This cue would be from the 1960's in all likelihood.

Not Purple

I think this is the best picture of the Veneers and Splice that I have.
It looks Red here.
