The raffle winner gets a free dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Louisville, KY on Wednesday, January 9. This date is about the mid-point of next year's Derby City Classic and we hope it will be a real treat for the winner. Not only will the winner get to dine at the highly rated Ruth's Chris, but they will also have the pleasure of dining with famed pool writer George Fels, pool photographer Mike Haines, world traveler and living history of pool guy Jay Helfert, and the ever interesting Fatboy. When the full list of 15 eligible AZers is available, a number from one to fifteen will be assigned to each name. I'll pull a name from a hat and Doug Walker, co-owner of Kickshot Billiards, will reach into a ball return of a Diamond pool table and blindly pull out a ball. The number on the ball will be assigned to the name. Then, starting on December 1, we will check the last two digits of the closing Dow Jones Industrial average, looking for a number from 01 to 15. The first day that one of those numbers shows up, that will be the number of our winner!
