Hi Everyone,
I was surprised several people have come up to me at tournaments the last few months asking about my custom Jim Buss.
Well, some time has passed and here is another update: After returning the cue (click here to find out why) I have decided NOT to go with Bacote after all in the butt sleeve and points. I want curly maple or a stained BEM. I am much more excited about these warm colors! I am also still deciding on the joint - luckily Poolplaya9 had all three for me to hit with back in January - ivory, steal and phenolic. I could tell a slight difference between them, but think I am going with a phenolic joint.

The cue was sold to someone here on AZB through Jim, after I returned it. Jim is going to work on my new cue after Valley Forge - if you see him there, tell him I said hi!
