Chris Byrne 4 Points
Before saying something about the cue i would like to say a few words about Chris first.
For those who are not familiar with his work, he has been around for years and his cues are amazing in every way. However, last few years his work has become even better although i didn't even know this is possible and now they are in league of their own. Finish, points, veneers, inlays work, leather job, construction.....you can't point out what is better. They are something special and are on par with best of the best!
At the Expo Chris delivered me 5 cues and this is the 1st out of 5.
Beside the quality that is out of this world, Chris is super nice, polite and helpful. A real old school gentleman. It has been pleasure working with him on this project and can't wait for the another one that has already started!
Chris's cues play really fantastic and for a reason you don't see them for sale often.
It's easy to see why his cues are hard to get, and in such demand. They play fantastic, look fabulous, and I believe they are one of the best investments in the cue market today.
Cue
4 points Kingwood into BEM
4 Veneers in Black, Blue, Green and Red.
Fleur De Lis inlays
Radial pin and flat faced joint and beautiful brown ee leather wrap.
ABOUT CHRIS BYRNE
Chris Byrne has been making cues in Colorado since 1994, and has developed a very solid reputation as a premier cue maker. His work is very precise and meticulous, and his work is exceptionally clean. For the most part, he makes traditionally designed sticks, and puts a premium on playability.
He is highly respected among true cue afficionados. This is mostly because of his excellent craftsmanship, but also because they are in such demand. He doesn't make a lot of cues. He's a busy guy with a young family and a full time job. He's not only a cue maker, but an auto mechanic, gun-smith, car enthusiast and competitive shooter in trap and skeet as well as long range rifles. Because of all these interests, he doesn't turn out a big volume of cues, but when they leave his shop, they're special.
