Like N10Spool said. Do you want to set it up to play like the tables you might compete on? If so, find out if they use accufast cushions on their Olhausens. You can get a set of accufast rubber (only comes in one lenght--fits up to a 9') for $220 delivered to your door off the net from a dealer but as they have told you, they are soft and will reject balls out of the pockets more than others.
I shoot on one 3 times a week and know that for a fact. But on the other hand, where I play, they have all Olhausen tables and all that I've seen have accufast cushions so I don't have to adjust a whole lot when I go out and play in a tourney.
