It was two cushions across the table, but like Billy and Danny said it was a poor choice in how to shoot the shot.

The shot was Shawn's unfortunate doom cuz this was a close match. He is very good at the behind the back and he was expected to shoot it that way since he shot them that way throughout the whole tourney.

He also fouled on a relatively simple jump shot that was the other shot that sealed his fate. He's one of the best full cue jumpers due to his height and wing span and he was only jumping over part of a ball while bridged on a rail. Sound have been easy for him.

I think the heat of the moment with the lights and Alex coming on strong just got his physical tools enough out of balance that his execution faltered. In other words, I think he shot the right shots the right way for him. That's what got him to the finals and you should always dance with girl you brought.
