Last night I saw a guy who had a sock over his cue. When I asked him about it he said it helped keep his cue dry. It was pretty humid last night and guys were using powder like crazy. Everyone was laughing at his sock but at least he had a dry cue. I wanted to know if they make something to slide over your cue when your not using it. I just did a google search and I couldn't find anything. I think it was also help keeping dust off your tip.

Does this "sock cover the whole cue or just the shaft? Maybe you can use a shaft sleeve? Comes with some of the aftermarket shafts when you buy them brand new.

I've got a couple of white ones with stripes at the top. . I think they're from the late 70's.
You can probably get 8-9 cues into without batting an eye.:shocked2:

Sock keeps the shaft clean

i think most use that sock to keep their shaft halfway clean.
theory of the BLUESHAFT SYNDROME, comes from continually placing a shaft back in the case, eventually all that blue is on the shaft all the way up to the finished portion.

Some people clean the tip off, when replacing the shaft back in the case, but most don't
