Imo, for what it's worth, the implex jointed cues had a somewhat softer hit w more feedback and seemed to generate English easier. The draw shots were crucial in this regard. I loaded the shit out of 'em full table just to see what they could do. Lol. The Steel, while comparable in every way, gave a more solid and consistent hit w less feedback on stop, break and high English shots.
The draws were all carbon copy across the board on steel.
Unscientific as hell, but I'll betcha a dollar to a dime if you set this test up for me anywhere, anytime, I'll take your money. There is a diff and it's noticeable to old heads like me. IMHO.
Heuristic, possibly, but I let the results speak for themselves.
We're going to do this test (loosely) again when the weather warms, say May or so, to see if that makes any difference in hit.
