Glue Removal

I picked up a used table with 3/4" unbacked slate.It has about 2"
of what looks like some type of contact glue around the perimeter
of the slate.Could anyone suggest the best method to remove it?

Look for some 3M spray adhesive remover at a hardware store, that stuff is the nuts for removing the glue like that.

Glue remover

I could not find any 3M spray adhesive remover.I bought a can of
spray GOO GONE XTREME.That stuff is awsome.One can did the
entire table.

Alot of hard work scraping with a razor or Goof Off.
