I got it out. Had to use a pair of pliers with rubber jaws.

Is yours a tube case? Cue went too far in to grab easily? I "marbled" my porper case...put a few marbles in the bottom of each tube, making the Butt and the Shaft stick up enough to grab. Put the marbles in one at a time, testing after each one. You'll know when you reach the right point...

i know this is an old thread but wanted to thank those..

I wanted to thank those who suggested using wax paper to give the linen wrap more of a tac feel to it. I had never like playing with anything other than wrapless or leather due to the slippery feel of the linen ( dry hands, never moist ). I must say the wax paper suggestion really made a difference. I can now play with linen wrap with NO PROBLEM! Amazing.. for those wondering about trying it..do it.
