To the New England Pool Community,
As most of you already know, we are hosting the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour at Snookers on March 2 & 3, 2024, and we are looking forward to seeing all of you at this great event.
The March Joss event has always been the annual New England Pool & Billiards Hall of Fame Tournament with a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony taking place on the Friday night before the tournament. Unfortunately, due to some scheduling conflicts with inductees, we will be unable to host the induction ceremony on Friday, March 1.
We have decided to move the Hall of Fame Tournament to June so that we can have the induction ceremony and properly celebrate the occasion with a tournament centered around the event.
Our event coming up in just a couple weeks on March 2 & 3 will still be hosted by Mike Zuglan and the Northeast 9-Ball Tour, and it will still be a $3000 added event. The Hall of Fame event in June will also have $3000 added.
We are excited to be hosting both of these great events over the next couple months, and we hope to see all of you here at Snookers.

Stop # 13 of my Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour 2023/2024 season will take place on Mar 2 & 3 at Snookers Sports Billiards Bar & Grill in Providence R.I. Much thanks to Paul and Erin Troxell for putting up the $3,000 added, and once again allowing us the use of this great room for our event. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in the main event.
Also, whether you come to play, or just watch, you will have the opportunity to win a gorgeous custom engraved Joss Cue, valued at $1,500, by participating in Snookers cue raffle. Anyone can participate and you don't have to be present to win! The drawing will be just prior to the final match of the main event on Sunday. So come on down to play and win, watch for free, have some great food and drink at one of the area's best restaurants, and take a chance at a $1,500 Joss Cue.
Snookers has arranged a special rate of $169 + Tax at the Providence Marriot (just across the street), 1 Orms St, Providence RI 02904, 401-272-2400 - mention Snookers.
This event at Snookers will consist of a $2,500 added Saturday and Sunday Main Event (entry Fee $120 for pro level or $70 for non pro level) and a $500 added second chance event on Sunday ($20 Entry Fee) for those non pro players eliminated from the main event on Saturday
For those of you coming to play, please arrive on Saturday March 2, Before 11:00 AM, and in proper dress please. Yes, jeans and sneakers are permitted in our billiard parlor events. But please, NO T-shirts, tanks, shorts or sweats. Complete tour info can be found on our site www.joss9balltour.com .
Be aware that I reserve the right to alter the format of any of our events to accommodate large fields or by direction of the host room owner!
